The International Department of ArtBox School focuses on the development of students' comprehensive abilities. keeping around the general education, we teach the subjects of art and design, including fine art and design. It is aimed at students from secondary school, high school and university to create their works in the form of program. The courses are divided into general courses and professional courses. Students have specific tutors to complete their works and from their own collection of works.

General Courses：

Art and design is a very big topic with variety of subjects. The concept of "transboundary" is not only for art, but also for other fields. With the development of human civilization, we combine many seemingly unrelated things. And the art course can just give students a preliminary understanding of this. Students can also explore their own interests and find their own way in their study.

Tutorial：

After completing the general education course, the tutor will arrange and follow up the specific projects according to the students'professional choices.

The creation of works in the form of project research. Follow up and supervise students to complete the project. The purpose is to guide students to practice and grasp reasonable logic of creation, and cultivate students' time management ability.

Nowadays, fine art has a wide range of content. In addition to the traditional graphic painting, three-dimensional sculpture, installation art, etc., it integrate with the sound and photoelectric elements, and even digital media art. The popularity of computer technology is also gradually affecting the art circles today.

Fashion Design

The course of fashion design requires students to have basic artistic aesthetics. In addition, there will be some research on fabrics, human body and so on. The course of costume design provided by our school provides includes the design sketch, the fashion illustration, sewing, pattern making, draping, design and so on. On the basis of mastering the above skills, students need to combine their knowledge and enrich their design to finish their own works.

Fashion Styling

Fashion styling pays attention to the application of existing materials and fabrics. From the fashion, color, fabrics, accessories, makeup, and even hairstyle, this course mainly study fashion aesthetics. Fashion styling also requires the ability of creation design and reconstruction which can help students achieve the position of each project.

Product Design
Throughout the history of product design, we can find that humans have been studying how to be lazy. We can simply use the definition of tools to understand product design. Each product solves a problem. The container solves the storage problem, the vehicle solves the problem of space, and so on. Therefore, product design belongs to a discipline of application and requires more rational thinking.

The product design course of our school needs students to master basic design principles, understand certain ergonomics, and complete design practice projects of different kinds of product. And they must have certain understanding on material, function and structure.

Jewellery Design

Traditional jewelry is defined as the pursuit of value. Most precious stones are used as the main materials for design. This kind of jewelry has a certain value. However，Modern jewelry design has been added more elements. It is not only the innovation of materials, but also the inspiration of jewelry creation. Therefore，it focus on more fine art, such as expressing emotions, story telling and so on. Like a piece of art, they are waiting for the interpretation by others.

The jewelry design of our school provides the professional design course, including the rendering of jewelry sketch, metal process foundation, contemporary jewelry design, jewelry photography and other courses.

Architecture

In a broad sense, all artificial environments that rely on human completion belong to architecture. Architecture is especially important for human development, which makes us more convenient to use space. With the progress of science and technology, materials are changing every day, and more architectural forms are also being developed. For computer technology, the application of digital technology has reached new height.

The course includes architectural drawing, environmental drawing, interior drawing, model making, material research, architectural project, etc.

Illustration refers to a picture attached to a book. Some are printed in the middle of the text, and some as a page in the book, and they are used to play the roles of supplement or artistic appreciation. Nowadays, the generalized illustration is an art form, and as a kind of important visual communication form of modern design, with its intuitive vivid and appeal, it occupies a specific position in the modern design. Illustration has been widely used in many fields of modern design, involving cultural activities, social public utilities, commercial activities, film and television culture, etc.

The course of illustration includes basic painting skill, watercolor, oil painting, collage, and material painting.

Graphic Design

Graphic design, also known as the visual communication design, regarding "visual" as a way of communication and performance, creates and combines symbols, images and text in various ways to convey the idea or message. Graphic designers may use typography, visual arts, layout, computer software and other professional skills to achieve creation. Graphic design usually refers to the process of making (design) and the finished work.

Graphic design courses include hand-painted foundation, logo design, font design, poster design, packaging design, computer software application, and so on.

动画

Animation

The concept of animation is different from the general meaning of the cartoon. Animation is a comprehensive art, which including painting, cartoons, movies, digital media, photography, music, literature, etc. Animation is the art of time because it needs to take time to appreciate an animation, and the audience's emotions also fluctuate during this period.

The animation course includes human body painting, human body structure research, animal research, scene sketch, story creation, script creation, photography skills, video editing and so on.

Photography
The word "photography" come from the Greek word refers to drawing with light. Photographer needs to consider all elements which is Layout, light, color. It is the main content of studying photography to deal with these images with artistic techniques. In addition, the application of the camera is equally important. On the basis of understanding the principles of photography, skilled in using film cameras, digital cameras are necessary capabilities.

The professional course of photography in Artbox is composed of plane composition, color composition, camera use, studio shooting practice, external photography practice, post-software processing, photography project and so on.
