The time to spend on the preparation of the work:
Preparation time, suitable for two years of preparation time. The undergraduate application of the New York School of Visual Arts is divided into early approval and normal approval, which are November and January of each year. So you will be busy applying in the third year of high school, everyone should prepare as early as possible, and the first one can start.
Use your weekends and a variety of available holidays to create. In addition, the school's art class is also a good source of your work.
Usually in the first year of high school, you should learn as much as possible about various painting skills and computer skills. And pay more attention to the resources of art and design, enrich the inspiration in the brain.
The second year of high school is the golden year of creating works. If you become mature, you can create more excellent works. (Before the summer vacation, try to complete your TOEFL or IELTS exam, and the SAT or ACT will be completed as soon as possible)

A reasonable application schedule:
(Applicable to students in the last year of high school, high school or 12th grade)
In August and September of each year, applications from many schools in the United States are open. First, register the two application platforms, Common Application and Slideroom, and fill in the basic information.
August: Before the end of the summer vacation in the second year of high school, do your collection, including typesetting. Reserve time for preparation of other application materials.
September: After the start of the school, I will go to the school's application guidance teacher and start preparing the transcripts. Some transcripts require certification and the period is one to two months. At the same time, you need to prepare the language scores, the upload of the recommendation letter (to recommend the teacher to complete), and the upload of the paperwork.
If there are no new works that will make you more satisfied during this period. The previously prepared folios can be uploaded directly.
Through the Slideroom, there will be specific requirements. After uploading, you can wait for the good news, and the basic pre-approval application will have a result around New Year's Day. If the normal batch is in accordance with the above plan, it will be fine.
