The show brushes upon four modalities of love:
A plastic devotion to love.
An facetious opposition to love.
A dry absence of love.
Deep and penetrating love.
P.S. The show is not about God.
P.P.S. The show is about Christmas.
GOD IS… LOVE是一个由四个来自加州艺术学院学生组织的群展。
此展触碰了四种模式的爱：
一种对爱塑料的崇拜
一种对爱讽刺的反对

Julia Chai is a visual artist currently studying at the California Institute of the Arts. She is exploring her practice within drawing and functional/sculptural ceramics. She is motivated by her curiosity of the existence of being and the serendipitous moments that occur within. Recently, she has been thinking about nostalgic memories of family and the roles of a parent and child. If you have any facts or stories about dogs she would love to hear about them!
Julia Chai 是一名视觉艺术家，现就读于加州艺术学院。她用绘画与实用/雕塑陶艺为媒介去找寻艺术实践。对存在与生活中的偶然时刻的好奇是她艺术上的推进力。她近期思考的重心在家庭的怀旧记忆与父母和孩子所担任的角色。如果你有任何关于狗的知识和故事请一定要与她分享！
Steven Chen is a queer queen currently studying at CalArts. He has background in pathetic art and critical theory. His practice concerns the relations between fear, trauma and emergency, innocuous misanthropy and a vigilant devotion to materiality.
陈思文，酷儿女王，现就读于加州艺术学院。他的作品扎根于低艺术(pathetic art)和批判理论(critical theory)。他的作品聚焦了恐惧，创伤，紧急性与无害的反人类主义的关系，以及对于物性警醒的信奉。
Angela Chen, born in Wenzhou, Zhejiang, is a trophy craftsman currently studying at CalArts. Absurdity and humor are often the departure points of her work, with common sense and critique as the midpoint. Her favorite artists are Matisse and Richard Aldrich. She hates cherry flavored hand soap and skinny jeans.
陈佳韵，出生于浙江温州，现就读于加州艺术学院，奖杯手艺人。其作品多以荒诞为起点，常识和反思为中点。她最喜欢的画家是马蒂斯和Richard Aldrich, 最讨厌的两件东西是樱桃味洗手液和紧身牛仔裤。
Casey Chan is currently attending California Institute of the Arts. Her most recent body of work challenges the taboo surrounding our bodily waste and waste spaces. She is interested in pushing the boundaries of the public and the private as well as a re-examination of waste spaces. Her background is in painting and sculpting.
陳樂恩目前就读于加州艺术学院。她最近的作品挑战了围绕排泄物和废物空间的禁忌。她对于质疑公共和私人的界限以及对废物空间的重新审视有着浓厚兴趣。她的背景是绘画和雕刻。
